Keen-Tucky Coleslaw Recipe
Ingredients:
6 c of cabbage; chopped
1 c of carrots; shredded finely
1/4 c of sugar (refined)
1/2 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of pepper (black)
1/2 c of milk
1 c mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/2 c of buttermilk
1/2 tsp of celery (seed)
3 drops of hot sauce (pepper)
3 Tbsps of onion (dry); minced
Instructions:
Combine cabbage, carrots, sugar, salt, and pepper; toss them well. Drench with the milk and cover. Place inside the refrigerator for fifteen minutes.
Combine mayonnaise, celery, buttermilk, onion, and hot sauce; mix thoroughly and mix with the cabbage.
Place back inside the refrigerator for one hour. Drain the dressing then serve on the side.
